The flexible insulating tube HT (high temperature annealing) is made from a braided fiber glass mesh impregnated with silicone resin and subsequently subjected to a heat treatment.
The glass fabric provides a degree of electrical insulation and high tensile strength. Silicone adds the whole structure and high thermal resistance. Its composition is resistant to most organic solvents and oils dielectrics. It is fully compatible with resins and varnishes used for impregnation of electrical machines.
UL is certified as self-extinguishing insulating tube with an operating temperature of 250 ° C and can withstand intermittent exposures to 320 ° C.
