Glass Epoxy Rigid Laminate EPCG 203 (G11)

EPGC 203 boards – English acronym of Epoxy Glass Cloth- are composed of layered woven glass sheets impregnated with high temperature resistant epoxy resin. These are then pressed under high temperature to obtain an electrical insulating rigid laminate.

Very low moisture absorption, low electrical loss at high frequencies, excellent mechanical properties at room temperatures, very good mechanical properties at operating temperatures up to thermal class F (155ºC), very good dielectric properties.

Description

Standards:

UNE-EN 60893-3-2 (2004): EP GC 203
NEMA LI-1: G11
DIN 7735: Hgw 2372.4

Applications:

High temperature epoxy glass boards can be used for a diverse range of both electrical and mechanical applications. Due to its excellent mechanical and thermal properties it is ideal for use as wedging material, mechanical barriers, electrical switch board manufacture and many more, requiring high dynamic stress resistance at elevated temperatures.

It is also adequate in high frequency applications.
