Depending on the various combinations of carrier and resin employed may be obtained products with specific and tailored to different applications properties. Usually the working temperature and its mechanical strength will indicate the choice of product: From phenolic paper plates to epoxy resin glass cloth grades through a variety of combinations that provide tailored properties for specific applications such as controlled electrical conductivity or magnetic permeability among others.
